This is the final map of Destiny 2 with all its locations unlocked, 4 planets to explore, 2 social centers (The Villa and The Tower), The Crucible and the Assaults.
To unlock the planets we simply have to continue the main story missions. Below we leave you a description of all the planets, social areas and characters that we are going to encounter in Destiny 2.
The Ville
After the fall of the City, the center where we manage our adventure is The Ville, just like the tower in Destiny, we can access several characters to buy, receive rewards, access missions, save equipment etc. After completing the prologue we will access La Villa and from there our adventure in Destiny 2 begins, in this area we can talk to several characters:
Tess Everis: a merchant of elegant and highly desired objects, her rewards are Shaders, Modifiers, Spectrum Shells, is also in charge of decrypting the Luminous Engrams.
Lord Shaxx: oversee the Crucible, competitive multiplayer. Complete matches in the Crucible and earn reputation to test your skills and earn rewards.
Suraya Hawthorne: a link between humanity and the guardians. Suraya offers shelter to all survivors, she is in charge of giving us missions in La Villa and giving us clan rewards.
Vanguard Zavala, Ikora, Cayde-6
We cannot access these 3 characters until we have rescued Cayde-6 on Nessus and convinced Ikora on Io, that is, until Io is completed. Once we have gathered the 3 guardians we can see them in the Villa.
- Zavala : Unlocks us Raids and Nightfall Raids.
- Ikora : It unlocks us Challenges.
- Cayde 6 : It unlocks us Patrol Missions.
Also for completing their missions they give us objects to raise reputation with each one and receive rewards in the form of Legendary and Exotic items. Later upon completing the story mode we will see them in The Tower.
Planets
In Destiny 2 we visit 4 planets, Earth, Titan, Nessus and Io, but also in each of them we have a character to interact with, we leave you first a description of the character of each planet and then the description of the planets.
Devrim Kay, Sloane, Failsafe, Asher Mir
Apart from the characters that we meet in The Villa and later in the Tower, in each of the 4 Zones that we can explore, Earth, Titan, Nessus and Io we have a character who gives us missions and rewards raising reputation with that character by doing missions in their areas.
- Devrim Kay : He was always a gentlemanly sniper, he defends his position in full European Dead Zone.
- Sloane : A veteran of many battlefields, Sloane oversees the operations on Titan.
- Failsafe : Failsafe artificial intelligence is the guide to the wastelands plagued by Vex in Nessus.
- Asher Mir : Scarred by his encounter with the Vex, the irascible Asher Mir defend Io for the Avant-garde and for science.
European Dead Zone
The playable area of Earth is the European Dead Zone, not the Cosmodrome from the original. It's a green, quite beautiful place, which Bungie says is the largest they've built. This is where the Guardians flee after the Cabal attack the City. Apart from being the place where The Villa is, it is also very important because it is the area where a large Traveler's Fragment is and that will help us activate the subclasses of each guardian once we meet the requirements. Earth is the perfect place to start getting to know the game since it is a large map with a lot of activities and events.
Titan
One of Saturn's moons, Titan is a vast ocean of methane with 40-meter waves crashing into the enormous monolithic structures built by humanity on the Golden age before the Traveler fell asleep. This is where Commander Zavala, leader of the Guardians, goes to lick his wounds after the Cabal attack. He seems to be suffering a crisis of faith after losing the Last City. Zavala is determined to retaliate.
Nessus
Nessus is a planetoid under the control of the Vex, one of the most interesting of Destiny's hostile alien races. Nessus has become almost entirely one of its giant computer worlds, but its surface retains an otherworldly beauty: it's all lush red trees, white rivers, and canyons based on real-life plateaus. If Zavala's flaw is self-hatred, Cayde-6 suffers from recklessness, he has managed to get himself trapped here. Nessus is about the fate of a human colony ship that came here during the Golden Age. Its AI on board, Failsafe, is its last survivor.
Io
A sulfuric moon of Jupiter, it is the farthest location from Earth in Destiny so far, and the last place the Traveler's Light touched before the Collapse. Therefore, it is a mysterious world, sacred to the Guardians, and to the Sorcerers in particular. Ikora Rey, after the loss of the Tower, retires to Io and you will have to come to persuade her to return.
Tower
Once we complete the campaign mode and return to the city, the La Torre social center appears again, it is not exactly the same as the one in Destiny 1, but it is very similar and everything is more concentrated. In The Tower we find practically all the characters that we meet in The Villa with the exception of the cryptarch Tyra Karn, we will see Hawthorne, the Guardians Zavala, Ikora and Cayde-6, Tess Everis and everything related to the Crucible, in addition We find new characters in this location that we present below:
Master Rahool: representative of cryptarchy, deciphers engrams and searches for the treasures of humanity's past. Give him the found Engrams to receive powerful equipment and other items.
Kadi 55-30: Admin androids diligently monitor deliveries, messages, and lost items. Visit him from time to time as he sometimes has items for you.
Banshee-44: Master Armorer of the Tower, only offers the Guardians the best of the best. By disassembling Weapons and Equipment we obtain Weaponsmith Materials, delivering them to this armorer to raise the faction level and to receive rewards.
Amanda Holliday – He runs the Hangar like a well-oiled engine. Amanda sells us the hummingbird ships and vehicles. At the end of the Campaign you will be given a hummingbird if you go to visit it.
