Luckily there is many ways to configure<\/strong> said controls of a simple way<\/strong> and fast<\/strong>, or many substitutes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

How do we configure the controller?<\/h3>\n

The easiest way to program a universal remote<\/strong> is enter the code<\/strong> that identifies with the brand of television that we want to use, the player or whatever. The codes are normally provided by the remote control manual itself through a sheet called "code sheet<\/strong>".<\/p>\n

We can also find them online. After finding the code, follow the following steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Turn on the device<\/strong> that you want to control with the remote.<\/li>\n
  2. Press and hold the button DEVICE.<\/strong> This will cause the device's LEDs and power buttons to light up.<\/li>\n
  3. With the button still pressed<\/strong>, enter the code<\/strong> for the device brand. If a brand has more than one code, start with the first and continue until the power button turns off.<\/li>\n
  4. Do not release the button<\/strong> even if you have entered the code until the power light on the remote control goes off. If the light flashes it means that the code is not correct.<\/li>\n

    There is a simple way to search the code automatically<\/strong> on some universal controls. What this will do is try various codes that you have installed in your database until you find the correct one. The steps you must follow are:<\/p>\n

    1. Turn on your TV or the device you want to control.<\/li>\n
    2. Press and release the button DEVICE  <\/strong>and the button on the controller of what you want to control, a TV<\/strong>, a DVD <\/strong>or whatever.<\/li>\n
    3. Press the button DEVICE <\/strong>again, as well as the button POWER <\/strong>at the same time. Release both buttons at the same time.<\/li>\n
    4. Press and release the button PLAY <\/strong>on the remote, then wait a few seconds and see if the device you're trying to control turns off. If it does, you have already found the correct code.<\/li>\n
    5. After this press and release the button REVERSE <\/strong>every two seconds until your device turns back on. When it turned on it found the code.<\/li>\n
    6. Once found press the button STOP <\/strong>and you can now use your controller.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
