In this section of the guide we are going to look at the runic attacks of god of war 4 <\/a>of which we can assign 2 to each weapon and which we can activate by pressing \"L1 + Weak Attack for light and \"L1 + Strong Attack for the heavy ones, the Summons of Atreus, which we activate by holding down the button with which we shoot the arrows and the talismans that we assign it to   \"L1 + \"circle and we can only take one.<\/p>\n

Runic Attacks<\/h2>\n

There are many Runic Attacks, these special attacks create states and are perfect for getting through the most difficult fights or fighting several enemies at the same time, they are divided into 2 categories, Light Runic Attacks<\/strong> and Heavy Runic Attacks<\/strong>We can also improve them up to 3 levels to increase their characteristics or add effects and more damage or hits. These attacks depend directly on our weapons, so we have specific Runic Attacks for the Leviathan Ax <\/strong>and others for Swords of Chaos<\/strong>. Below we leave you with the list and location of all of them. <\/p>\n

Leviathan Ax<\/h3>\n

Light Runic Attacks<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Nj\u00f6rd Tempest<\/strong> \u2013 Spinning melee attack that sweeps away enemies around you and deals significant damage. Location: in a Legendary Chest in the Alfheim region<\/strong>, we can also find it in the store once we advance enough in the story.<\/li>\n
  • Fury of the Ice Troll<\/strong> \u2013 Fast radial shock wave attack that slows enemies and launches them into the air. Location: in a Legendary Chest in the V\u00f6lunder Mines<\/strong>, only accessible during or after Brok's Favor "Secondhand Soul".<\/li>\n
  • Tyr's Revenge <\/strong>\u2013 Powerful spinning attack against a single target, followed by another that slams the enemy into the ground. Location: in a Legendary Chest in the Mountain region<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • Leviathan Awakening<\/strong> \u2013 A powerful ax throw that pierces enemies in its path. Location: In a Legendary Chest in the Veithurgard region<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • white bear charging <\/strong>\u2013 A quick attack with momentum followed by a punch. Kratos is protected during the rush. Location: in a Legendary Chest in the Wild Forest<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • Wrath of the Ice Ancient<\/strong> \u2013 Powerful ice beam that slows enemies when touched. Location: In a Legendary Chest in Fafnir's Warehouse<\/strong> during or after Sindri's Favor "Fafnir's Cache"<\/li>\n
  • Utgard Coup <\/strong>\u2013 Wide arc attack that deals a moderate amount of ice damage. Location: in a Legendary Chest in Alfheim.<\/li>\n
  • Hel's Touch<\/strong> \u2013 Very fast energy charge that interrupts and knocks down nearby enemies. Location: we take it directly as part of the story.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Heavy Runic Attacks<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Thiazl's Claw: Momentum slashing attack that launches a small vertical wave and deals moderate ice damage. Location:<\/li>\n
    • Ivaldi's Anvil: Devastating area-of-effect attack that freezes all enemies within range. Location:<\/li>\n
    • Mists of Helheim: Attack that affects a small area for a long time and causes ice damage to enemies within it. Location:<\/li>\n
    • Frost Giant's Frenzy: 3 violent downward strikes that launch enemies into the air. Location:<\/li>\n
    • Blessing of Ice: Temporarily empowers the Leviathan Ax with small bursts of ice damage on each impact and a small bonus to normal and runic attacks. Location:<\/li>\n
    • River of Blades: Destructive attack where a row of ice blades deal ice damage and launch enemies into the air upon impact. Location:<\/li>\n
    • Needle Storm<\/strong>: Throw the Leviathan ax at any nearby target and automatically search and hit; Deals a small amount of ice damage to any enemies in its path. Location:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Swords of Chaos<\/h3>\n

      Light Runic Attacks<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Chaos Cyclone<\/strong>: Circular sweep that clears all nearby enemies. Location: In a Legendary Chest in the kingdom of Helheim, it can also be purchased in the store once we advance enough in the story.<\/li>\n
      • Nemean Onslaught<\/strong>: Attack with a huge shock wave that launches enemies into the air. Location: we achieve it by defeating the Troll on the beach of the "Council of the Valkyries".<\/li>\n
      • Devastation of the Furies<\/strong>: Strong flurry of attacks culminating in a powerful downward attack. Location: in a Legendary Chest in the River Pass.<\/li>\n
      • wrath of the titans<\/strong>: A succession of rapid attacks that culminate in a devastating blow and launch enemies into the air. Location: in a Legendary Chest in the Buri Warehouse, we can also buy it in the store once we advance enough in the story.<\/li>\n
      • Storm of Icarus<\/strong>: Spinning attack that hits all enemies within range. Location: We buy it in the store when we advance enough in the story.<\/li>\n
      • Fury of Artemis<\/strong>: Slashing attack that protects Kratos by knocking back nearby enemies. Location: we get it by killing the Troll "Daudi Munr" in the story.<\/li>\n
      • Hephaestus Download<\/strong>: Fast, burning discharge that deals a small amount of burning damage. Location: in a Legendary Chest in the Wild Forests.<\/li>\n
      • Spartan charge<\/strong>: Quick downward attack that hits enemies with a flaming shield and deals a small amount of burning damage. Location: in a Legendary Chest in Helheim.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Heavy Runic Attacks<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • Wrath of Tartarus<\/strong>: Destructive downward attack that hits enemies with 2 sword blows. Location: we get it by defeating the Troll Grendel of the Ashes during the story.<\/li>\n
        • Fire of Ares<\/strong>: Downward blow that launches a fiery shockwave. Location: We get it as a reward for completing the Save the King favor (it is the fifth favor of the dwarves, and to activate it we must have completed the 2 favors of Brock and the two favors of Sindri).<\/li>\n
        • Prometheus Flame<\/strong>: Lethal downward strike that creates a small fracture under up to four enemies and then summons a column of flames beneath their feet. Location: in a Legendary Chest in Konunsgard (the Save the King favor area).<\/li>\n
        • Hyperion Strike<\/strong>: Powerful downward attack that causes a destructive explosion. Location: a Legendary Chest in the Mountain.<\/li>\n
        • descending meteor<\/strong>: Powerful downward strike that deals heavy burn damage with a wide arc of fire. Location: <\/li>\n
        • Hyperion's Grasp<\/strong>: Throw your Blades of Chaos towards an enemy and, upon impact, launch Kratos towards the target to deal a significant amount of stun damage. Location: in a Legendary Chest in the Temple of Tyr.<\/li>\n
        • Gift of Apollo<\/strong>: Temporarily upgrades the Swords of Chaos so that each hit restores some health to Kratos. Location: in the kingdom of Niflheim.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Summons of Atreus<\/h2>\n
            \n
          • Wolf's Wrath<\/strong>: Summons a spectral wolf that pounces on enemies 3 times. Location: we get it by defeating the Svartaljqfurr boss in Alfheim during the story.<\/li>\n
          • falcon descent<\/strong>: Summons a group of swooping spectral falcons. Location: in a Legendary Chest in the Mountain.<\/li>\n
          • Moose Storm<\/strong>: Summons a spectral elk that unleashes destructive energy in its wake. Location: in a Legendary Chest in the River Pass.<\/li>\n
          • bitter squirrel<\/strong>: Summons the spectral squirrel Ratat\u00f6sker, who digs up consumables. Location:<\/li>\n
          • Wild boar stampede<\/strong>: Summons a stampede of wild boars that trample enemies in their path. Location: we get it by defeating the ice troll during the Magic Chisel chapter.<\/li>\n
