From Google Photos
- Open the Google Photos app
- Select the photo you want to remove the location from
- Click on Information to open different options
- Choose No Location – Edit Location
Since iOS 13
- Select the photo you want to remove the location from
- Click on the Share icon (if you want to do it on several images at the same time, select them through Select and mark the desired photos)
- Before sharing you will see the Options icon
- Click on Options and deactivate the Location tab
From Mac
- Open the Photos app
- Select the photo you want to remove the location from
- Mouse over Location in the Image menu
- Select Hide location
From Preview
- Select the photo you want to remove the location from
- Press the key combination Command + i
- Select the GPS tab
- Click on Delete location information
