Pokémon Home has already been officially presented previously in the E3 2019, but until today we have not had more updates regarding this service. The service, as confirmed by Nintendo, is still dated February 2020 for its departure, and since it is just around the corner, they wanted to provide us with more information.
What is Pokémon Home and what is it for?
Pokémon Home is an application that will come to iOS, Android and Nintendo Switch that will help us trade pokemon, gifts and connect with many more network users who play Pokemon.
For example, in the Switch version we can finally connect Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield with Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Pokémon Let's Go Eevee (or vice versa), giving the possibility of move your shinys either Kanto Pokémon upon your departure Sword and Shield.
Another possibility that it opens up is to bring your Pokemon of the Nintendo 3DS buying separately the famous Pokémon Bank which came out some time ago. you will have 3 days free and the rest will have to be paid.
This service will have, as we have mentioned, a online section, in which you can exchange Pokemon with other players. In this case it works like the Alola online either X/Y In exchanges, you choose a Pokémon that interest you change from another, and the system will match you automatically with the user who has these requirements.
Among other modes it will include a payment judge mode that analyzes your Pokémon, you can modify user profile, see upcoming events, know how fights and tournaments are going, statistics and much more.
How much will this service cost?
This service can be used for free, although with limitations since it has two versions, the basic version and the premium version. Free features allow you deposit 30 Pokémon, have a Pokémon in the GTS and Trade 3 Pokémon at once in the Mystery Box. The premium version eliminates or raises the limits.
If we want the version Pokémon Home Premium, we will have to purchase a subscription, in this case we have 3 offers, 1 month for 3.49 euros, 3 months for 5.49 euros and 12 months for 17.99 euros.
