How to unfollow a Facebook account
Follow the following steps to stop following someone specific on Facebook, whether a person or an account:
- Accede to Facebook and enter your access data to your account if you do not have activated the automatic login.
- Search for the Facebook profile of the person or account you want to unfollow using the search bar at the top of the screen.
- Now click on the three ellipsis icon located under the header image of said account.
- In the pop-up menu, click on the option Tracking Settings.
- A new window will open with numerous tracking options on said page.
- Flip the switch of the option Stop following this page located at the bottom.
- Click on Aupdate.
This way you will stop following that one specific person or Facebook account and you will no longer receive their content on your Facebook news feed.
How to unfollow everyone on Facebook
Although if you no longer want to receive content from any of the pages you follow, you can choose to cancel all Facebook followers at once, a very useful option if you follow too many people or Facebook accounts and you don't want to cancel one by one.
