Homemade exfoliating mask

Is it good to use manufactured exfoliating creams or is it better to make them homemade? You will find the answer in this post along with 3 mask recipes.

There are many home methods that will make your fur this totally healthy and hydrated, how to use oil cleansing, but from time to time your skin will need a facial scrub. The exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells and other remaining impurities. 

Why is a homemade scrub better?

The beauty and makeup industry usually has many products that will exfoliate your skin, but those products are not all good as they contain plastics, irritating fragrances, glycerin, parabens, phthalates and other questionable ingredients for the health of our skin. In the long run they will damage more than repair.

Luckily, homemade products are easy to make and very cheap. 

Exfoliating cream that is not homemade can do a lot of damage to our skin as time goes by.

2 homemade exfoliating creams.

There are many homemade exfoliating creams that can help us, but the most useful are those from sugar wave of blueberries and honey.

Sugar facial scrub.

The ingredients for this mask are:

We combine the ingredients in a small bowl. Using your fingertips, gently rub the scrub into your clean face. Once you are done scrubbing, remove with cold water and rinse with a clean towel.

If you also want to moisturize, you can add a layer of oil at the end.

Blueberry and honey scrub

The ingredients that we are going to need for this cream are:

  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 – 2 tablespoons of sugar

As in the previous mask we combine all the ingredients, but this time in a food processor. We mix until smooth. Once finished, we add a generous layer to clean the face and leave it for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, rinse with warm water. 

The blueberry and honey cream will leave us with an exquisite smell and soft skin.
