Openers, Autos, Links and Shadow Moves
The first thing is to know these 3 concepts, the Openers are the movements of each character that allow us to start a combo. Autos are performed by pressing any of the 6 buttons after performing an Opener. Links are the movements that allow us to link more movements after performing an Opener + Auto. In the video you can see an explanation of these concepts.
Finish Combos
Another important detail that we must know in Killer Instinct are the Combo finishers, which is what will really add damage to the combo.
Combo Breakers, Counter Breakers and Shadow Counters
These 3 defensive concepts are what make Killer Instinct combat interesting, mastering them is the key to having an advantage in combat.
Perform Ultras and Double Ultras
To end our fights in style, there is nothing better than finishing off the opponent with an Ultra movement, or performing an Ultra Double using our Instinct bar.
