Cleaning a burnt pan or pot with many products may not be beneficial, since we could cause it to break, or the bottom part to crack. There are many ways to efficiently clean the burnt.
What are we going to need?
To clean our pan well we are only going to need a few things that we usually have at home:
- 1 cup of white vinegar.
- 2 tablespoons of sodium bicarbonate.
- 1 cup of water (if the pan is large, add more).
- 1 scouring pad
How should I clean it?
Once we have all the ingredients ready, we add a thin layer of water with vinegar and we put it to boil. This will make our pan at least look a little cleaner, or it should.
Once it boils, we remove from the heat and we add the sodium bicarbonate. We empty the pan and scrub it with the scouring pad. If there is a stubborn stain left and we want it completely clean, we will only have to prepare a baking soda paste. We leave the baking soda paste on the rebellious stain a little time and we clean again.
Other remedies
We have different types of remedies for this type of thing, but the previous one is the one that will help us the most and the one that will clean the burn very quickly and precisely. I leave you a list of remedies you can use:
- Boiling Dish Soap: We put water and a few drops of soap in the pot, boil, cool and wash with soap and hot water.
- oven cleaner: This product can help us have a very clean pan in a very short time, but we should use it as a last resort. Being a very caustic product, it ends up causing the utensils to discolor.
- steel wool soaked in soap: If we have a very difficult stain we will have no choice but to use it, although it will end up scratching our pan.
Do these remedies work for milk and baked food stains?
If we have one oven plate who has dropped food on it, or we have used a cooking pot to make rice pudding and all the milk has burned and stuck to it, all the previous remedies also serve to solve it.
