How to link Fornite Battle Royale accounts
The first thing we should do, if we have it, is unlink our account from Nintendo Switch or Xbox One, something that will not be necessary if you have only played Fortnite on PS4 and not on the others. The next step will be link an existing account on PlayStation 4 on the rest of the platforms, in this case, switch and Xbox One.
Important notice before unlinking accounts
Epic Games is working on a system that allows unify accounts in which real money has been spent or prizes have been achieved, since if we currently unlink our account from Switch or Xbox One, we will lose everything. And to use a single account from PS4, we must unlink the rest. At the moment there is no way to keep what we have in secondary accounts, so you may want to wait for Epic Games to offer a solution in this regard. On the contrary, if you have not spent anything in your accounts of Switch or Xbox One or you don't mind losing what you have achieved on them, continue with the process.
How to unlink Switch and Xbox One accounts
Before we can link our account or secondary accounts to PS4 we must unlink them from our profile through the official website of Epic Games. Simply log in to the account you want to unlink from Switch or Xbox One; Once you have logged in to either of the two secondary accounts, you must click on your profile name and access Account through the drop-down menu to access your profile settings window.
Already in the window Setting, we must access the option Connected accounts, where we can see our different accounts linked to our Epic Games profile. Each account will appear with its corresponding logo and name on a generously sized button with the option Log off. Now you just have to click on the account you want to disconnect, be it Switch or Xbox One (or both) to keep only the PS4 account.
A warning window will appear with three type boxes. check; Make sure that they are all marked and click on the red icon unlink. These notices have to do with the loss of progress or purchases, something we have already detailed previously.
How to link your PS4 account on Switch or Xbox One
Now it's time to link your secondary accounts to the main PS4 account; for it, log out of any account that you have open and Sign in with your PS4 Fortnite account. Again, click on Sign in through the Homepage from Epic Games.
Once we have logged in, we must click on our profile name and again access the option Account to access the Setting of our account. Again, we must access the entrance Connected accounts, where a list of our profiles linked to our account will appear. Epic Games. Now you just have to click on the icon Connect of the account or accounts (Switch and/or Xbox One) that you want to link to your main PlayStation 4 account.
A warning message will then appear to log in with our Switch or Xbox One account; we just have to click on the button Link your account and the Epic Games website will take us to the website of said service. Once on the page of the service that we want to link (Nintendo Online either Xbox Live), we just have to log in so that said console and account are linked to your PS4 main account.
