The most effective way to remove a mound anthill, is to use a small rake and apply insecticide on the ant hill. You should also use water to keep the insecticide powder in place.

If we have anthills that are not mounds, we should spray the entire grass with a good amount of water, this will prevent the ants from continuing in our garden.
