To put music in your stories instagram you must do it via Music tag, available in Instagram Stories. It is a very useful tool that allows us search for a song and choose a fragment of the same so that it plays automatically in our published story, up to a maximum of 15 seconds. How to use the Instagram Stories Music tag
The first step is to open the Instagram app and click on the camera icon, located in the upper left corner of the screen to create any new story.
Now it's time to capture an image, for later click the tags icon located on the right side of the screen, along with the rest of the options to add elements to your stories.
Several shortcuts will appear to elements that we can add to our stories; click on the option Music, located in the second row of icons. We will enter the music section of Instagram with several sections.
Among them we will see the option Popular, with the musical themes most used by Instagram users. Right next to it we can choose other themes such as Moods either Genders, to filter music according to your preferences. At the top we will find the music search engine, where we can write the name of a song or an author.
When you have performed a search, the matching topics will appear listed, with a play icon to the right to listen to the theme song before use. Choose the musical theme you prefer by clicking on it.
Now we will access a window in which we can select the fragment of the song that we want to use for our story, as we say, up to a total of 15 seconds. We have up to three editing tools to select said fragment:
- Progress bar: with it we can move to the minute and second we want of the song to start the selection; we can drag the point on the bar quickly.
- Fragment playback: generously sized rectangle that allows us to see how the selected fragment is progressing.
- Temporary option: small box that allows us to select the playback time, up to a maximum of 15 seconds.
When you have edited the fragment that you want to play in your Instagram story, click on Ready, option located at the top right of the screen. Thus, when we visualize our history of instagram a will appear music label with the rest of the elements that we have added; when a user accesses our story, said musical fragment will be played automatically.
