Blitz Cards
Blitz is a shorter game mode than can be played 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3 in Halo Wars 2. In this mode, you use Blitz cards to summon your troops to fight your enemies. The cards are divided into Banished forces and UNSC forces and specific cards for their designated leaders.
There are 4 types of cards depending on their color:
- Common (white).
- Uncommon (green).
- Epicas (purple).
- Legendary (gold).
As is implied, the higher the rarity, the more powerful they will be. The rarity color can be seen in the upper right corner of the card. We will see the energy cost of the card in the upper left. By leveling up Blitz cards, we will get large increases up to level 6, but after its sixth level, its statistics will increase very little, we can raise them as many times as we want.
The cards are divided into a few different types. There are infantry cards, ground vehicle cards, air vehicle cards, and power cards. Additionally, the human icon means it is an infantry unit, the wheel icon means it is a ground vehicle, the fighter jet icon means it is an air vehicle, and the lightning bolt means it is a power card.
Leveling and acquiring cards is done the same way: by opening packs. If we get a new card, it will be added to the cards we can use. If we get one that we already have, it will become an experience point to upload that same card. These are the attributes that we can improve on the cards, but not all cards have all the attributes.
- H.P. = Health points that units have.
- SPD = Speed of the units.
- DMG = Damage that units can cause.
- RNG = Rank of the units' weapons.
- ARM = Armor Strength of the units.
- DUR = Duration of powers.
- COUNT = The number of units/objects deployed.
- PWR = Power of your cards/skills.
There are several special attributes on the different Blitz cards. These attributes give special abilities and not all cards have them.
Siphon : These units have special weapons that steal health from their enemies equal to the damage dealt.
Detect : These units detect and reveal nearby cloaked enemies.
Shield : These units have shields that absorb damage and regenerate out of combat.
Camouflage : These units have invisibility and are able to move and attack without revealing themselves for 90 seconds.
Momentum – These units ignore fatigue when deployed outside of a main base, charging into battle at full strength.
Support – These units cannot attack and instead focus on support or healing abilities to help their armies.
Reflect – Half of the damage these units take is automatically returned to enemy attackers.
Shock – These units intimidate nearby enemy troops, significantly reducing their armor.
Burst – These units explode violently upon death, damaging nearby enemy troops within their radius.
Guard – These units cover nearby allies, taking all the damage they would normally take.
Rally – These units inspire nearby troops to take less damage.
Last position – When these units fall in battle, a number of infantry troops jump in to continue the fight.
